I have been using Microsoft's Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 for quite a while.
I get them on ebay for around $16-$18 each, usually 2-4 at a time.
The reason behind keeping so many is, they crap out relatively quickly. 6 months (sometimes sooner) and they start getting more inaccurate and slower
to move the pointer. New batteries don't help.
Of course the plus side is the low price for a mouse with a lot of buttons/features. 2 thumb buttons, which I use, side scroll and a wheel button I rarely use,
plus a good shape.
What would be a better mouse that has a longer lifespan that has a similar shape and buttons?
Price isn't necessarily an issue, but I'd hate to spend $60 and have it go tits up in 6 months.
What do y'all use and is it more rugged & reliable?
