London Premier 08.05.2009

OK Guys, Premier of ST XI is up on us and I've decided to organise meet-up on http://www.skyscrapercity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=674

with skyscrapercity forum guys, some of them are also members on this forum, but some of you guys are totally oblivious as to who I am and what I am on about...

To cut the story short, I love star trek, and I've decided to organise a forum meet-up, in honour of star trek XI.

7-8 forumers from SSC forums are coming, all from London and all in to sci-fi and star trek, some are quite dedicated to star trek (me ) and some are less so, but none the less we are all coming to see this movie and to have nice chat afterwards. I'll be organising everything from location and restaurant, sorry tickets I can only pre-book, and I won't do that until In know who exactly is coming. Thus far we have 7-8 from SSC and I hope to get at least 5 from this forum.

OK, dress code is smart casual, no trekie uniforms or star wars imperial storm troopers uniform. Budget is in the region of 25-30 quid for the night out, 7-8 quid for the tickets, and 10-15 quid for drinks and food. You pay for your own ticket and food/drinks, but this is how much everything should cost.

I nearly blew a gasket, seeing the date given as "08.05.2009", but then remembered Europe tends to put the month first.

I couldn't figure out why you Brits wouldn't get the movie until August.
