Spoilers Loki season 2-- spoilers and discussion

So, if the dampeners that kept Loki and Sylvie from using magic in the TVA are down, what does that say about all of the Infinity Stones in Casey's desk drawer and the stones that the other guys are using as paperweights?

I don’t think they gave a reason why the stones didn’t work.

Oh I didn’t edit fast enough, I thought that was explained in the show but it wasn’t. But that would be good theory. Can’t draw power from space and time if you’re outside space abd time

Yeah its not 100% verbalized iirc but it seems feasible to me

That and the implication that the TVA and the power behind it is on a whole other level to what came before. It was a fun moment too.

Did we just see the birth of multiverse Kang?
Did Timely got Clara Oswalded and integrated into the multiverse rebirthing itself becoming the Impossible Kang?
That...makes a lot of sense. It would certainly explain a lot about Victor, Kang, He Who Remains, and the dynamics we've seen about those characters up to now.

Well, if it works by the inverse ninja rule, one Kang will be virtually unstoppable, while the members of a horde of Kangs will each go down easily.

Even though the MCU Vision is essentially gone, it would have been a great homage if he could have commented on the prolific Kang battles with his unintentional joke from issue 141: ''Again???? This is getting monotonous!''

I wouldn't call it a smirk, I'd call it an excited and fascinated grin. To me, "smirk" implies a wry or ironic detachment, a downplayed reaction, but MM was totally into it.

Poor choice of words but I was posting while working and that was the first thing that popped into my head

Well that was a novel end to both the show, and the entirety of the MCU itself. Pretty bold of them to do this with two episodes to go, and after having put several other shows and movies though the production pipeline to sell the con. That's some Andy Kaufman level shenanigans right there.

Poor Timley though. Still, worse ways to go than spaghettification; I hear fusillification or conchiglification is much less pleasant. And the less said about the cosmic ragu and it's mysterious little yellow wobbly bits the better.
Yup, that's precisely what I was referencing (or trying to reference).

I am very curious to know what his train of thought was in that moment and why he decided to prune himself. And I hope it's not simply because he knew he had already experienced that moment and felt destined to follow through
I mean that pretty much has to be it. He recognised the place, the phone ringing, Sylvie climbing out of the lift, saw the stick in his hand and realised that he never saw who pruned him, and that if he didn't act . . . well he probably wasn't exactly sure what would happen if he didn't (who knows how causality works in that place) but he did know what would happen if he did, because he lived it. Emphasis on the live part, and if Loki is motivated by one thing, it's to still be alive. Also finding out what would happen if one were to create a paradox in a temporal nullspace right when a temporal loom is overloading is probably not worth the gamble.

Its being called the "midseason trailer" , even though there's only two episodes left. More like the 2/3 of the season trailer. it does contain a spoiler concerning Mobius.

Looks like we're going with a "Everyone's memory is wiped but Loki (and maybe Ouroboros, somehow)." Which is my preferred way of dealing with this.

I do wonder how they're going to keep the tension up though if there's not an actual antagonist for the final two episodes, and Loki is just in a race against time (literally) to restore the TVA.

That's silly.

Not going to watch it. I'll wait for the final two episodes.

What is the deal with Lamentis-1?

How is there a human English-speaking culture on another planet in 2077?

I realize this show in some ways wants to be Doctor Who, but still.

Am I missing something?

How is this any different from Guardians of the Galaxy?

Or Captain Marvel for that matter?
