Logging in on Christmas Day

Incidentally, it lost the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar to Tsotsi. Tough competition that year...

One place that wasn't closed was the Linksys technical support helpline, who managed to help get our home's wireless network set up in-between the Queen's Speech and the feature-length Wallace and Gromit film this afternoon. Now I can use my own laptop to surf the Net instead of my parents's. :bolian:

May as well clock in again.
Didn't eat until gone 6pm, but got there in the end. And we opened our pressies after that. A few decent DVDs and books to keep me going for a while.

After that we all watched Indiana Jones IV as a family :D

^If I were them, I would have an Anti-Christmas Party and get really drunk.
An Anti-Christmas party? To celebrate the birth of the Anti Christ? [Don't even go there, Ravescene - someone]

That would be the ninth of March. Yes, it's my birthday - but it's also my twin sister's birthday. She's the anti-Christ, I'm just a clone :p

Feel free to throw a party though.

Am now stuffed full of turkey, having a great day. Happy Christmas everyone!

I logged in for the second time today. We had a nice dinner at my sister's. Now we are going to have to do it all over again on Saturday. This year, it seems like Christmas will never end.

Well I'm off to dinner. We're gonna walk it. It'll take about 40 mins, so I'll feel less guilty about the third helping of stuffing.

40 something bordering on 50 here.
Finally had a little time to wander here (not much in the past week), though I am a little annoyed at the omnipresence of Christmas threads.

My folks not being very particular on exact dates, my family reunion is next week, this year. Smaller gathering last night and today. So why should I feel bad about being here tonight?
It's next week I won't be around, having a family life.

Nice to see so many regulars checking in. :) (I mean, relatively many. :D)

My unexpected company is gone. Things weren't the disaster I'd feared.

I'm watching Joyeux Noel.
Good one! :techman:
To think that the Christmas truce was so controversial during WW1 that they covered it up for decades...

Well, it's 23 mintues into the day after Christmas as I type this. But I did stop by yesterday as well.
