29 Jag has arrived 7:14 am Eastern. Waiting for my daughter and wife to wake up to open presents. Just watched The Way of the Warrior from the DVR. Nice way to start Christmas day.

I've been here for a while; I only just noticed this thread.
I'm having my second pot of coffee of the morning and getting ready to go to Church.
I'm making breakfast, brewing coffee, and getting ready to... mark papers. What a drag.
But I'll be talking to my family by phone this afternoon. And one of my colleagues invited me to have dinner with him and his family. So the day won't be a total bummer.
christmas has no religious significance to me. I don't have a religion.
So I'm not celebrating anything. This is a day of present swapping, spending time with the family, having nice food and confectionaries, seeing lots of films and reruns on the tele, and reminiscing about the past.
38) Eratta here. Just woke up at 8:22AM Central Time, mercifully hangover free, and about to put my face on so I can go greet my uncle who drove through the night to get here

We're waiting for my dad to get back from work here at my house, so there's frak all to do. Just another day so far
I stayed home on Christmas to write. Thus far writing has been extended to three boards and a couple of text messages... though only now I'm wishing I was home to cheer up my sister as he stuff - including new phone and birthday money - was stolen when she was out last night
Opting out of Christmas doesn't seem that bad compared to her spending the morning in a police station.
