LMAO - Socking It to 'Generations' on YouTube...

Pretty hilarious, although the 'this film was written by Berman who knew nothin' about Kirk' is a pretty tired line by this stage, considering the film was written by Brannon Braga and... Ronald D. Moore, whose involvement in Generations some parties want to retcon out of existence so they can go on sucking up to him. :p

That was funny...
But... Soran and Captain Picard were both kinda suicidal... That's why Picard didn't beam down with a phaser and Soran didn't jump outta the way...

Officially, I liked Generations. I thought it was a fun little romp. That said, you gotta be able to laugh at yourself. Good stuff.

Plus, Picard was sent down to the planet as the Duras' prisoner exchange. That's why he wasn't sent down with a phaser or communicator in "reality" the Enteprise wasn't the one to beam him down, the Duras Sisters beamed him down. (They used the Federation transporter effect, I assume, to not confuse the audiance.)

That was great. Also one more oppertunity to see the mark 1 DS9 uniforms (pre Star Trek: First Contact).

Dude's got some points about the logic of the nexus (but come on, how hard is that?), but I really think he's just another annoyed fanboy who, curiously when he doesn't seem to like the movie, took the time to make a video to bash it.

Didn't take long to get more than one mistake on this guy's part.

Doesn't matter that we haven't seen the kids, wife or house before. It's all the things Picard probably wanted but gave up on or never had because of his career.

Guinan did explain what her presence in the Nexus was. Only this guy's fault if he can't understand it or make sense of it.

It was clear why Picard decided to leave the Nexus. The star in the ornament woke him up. Yes, they DID explain it.

Was this guy out of diapers when this movie was in theaters?

It really was a complete piece of garbage. This guy doesn't cover the half of it--I'll never forgive them (Berman, Braga and Moore) for making Little Alex from Clockwork Orange play second fiddle to those sub-cretinous K'Leavage Sisters.

Don't get me started on how poorly they handled Kirk, in life and in death.

There's some sloppy plotting in this movie but it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. I kind of enjoy it actually. On the other hand, doesn't mean I didn't find this YouTube guy hilarious for ripping it apart :)
