Living Witness

It's 2011.

We're in the tweens buddy.

"Nowties" sounds like the psychological concern of not being able to comprehend the future which usually manifests as manic angst and social disconnection.

"Now Ties STAT!" is something Barney Stinsey would say.

Are you consumed in the past or the future?
I exist in an alternate 1986. Much like Watchmen but without the superheroes.

Richard Nixon is still running America and used a presidential order to cancel Star Trek The Next Generation before it even started. Bastard.

Wasn't there a wormhole to the alpha quadrant "five days" from the Vaskans? Might still be around when the backup doctor departed. The original EMH was 700 more years online, and is certainly wiser, but I wonder what happened to the numerous copies employed in mining.

They all died in mining accidents.

B'Elanna and Harry aren't concerned with back-ups if it means backing-up the EMH. By the way- this is the only ep where Janeway wears falsies. Outstanding!

Wouldn't it be stretching credibility a fair bit if the Mirror Universe Voyager also ends up in the Delta Quadrant? ;)

Indeed it would be, since DS9 showed us that there could never be a MU Voyager since there is no longer a Terran Empire by that time.

What I want to know is, why would it have taken the Doctor so long to reach Federation space? 700 years later, the Federation should already have expanded out that far. He should already BE in Federation space. Were the Kyrians and Vaskans simply ineligible for membership because they were fighting amongst themselves? They were no longer fighting when the Doctor left them...

The Dr had been sleeping for 700 years.

There's probably an infinite number of mirror universes, all different.

It already makes no sense that, after such differences, the M-DS9 crew are in the same places as their counterparts, so anything's possible with M-Janeway and co (except Tuvok, whom we saw)

Also, why assume the Federation will absorb everything 700 years hence? They're not the only power in the galaxy.

Not if to say there is any definite connection. Really, though, the back-up module would be a 'false' representation until correctly initialized.

What is 'note-worthy' is their advanced technology could correctly re-initialize the EMH and create a mobile emmitter-he saying progress has always been slow for their race.
