'Living Witness" Was Hilarious

I gotta give IAMD props on two things:

- The theme. Is that cool, or what?

- Some characters really *weren't* thoroughly, irredeemably evil. Look at Captain Forrest; he stayed behind and sacrificed himself for the crew. How many times do we see THAT in the MU?

It was a guilty pleasure, to imagine the characters at their worst, but it also was a cautionary tale of how you are perceived by others, whether at war or at the negotiating table.

I liked it in both aspects.

Just a minor quibble, but the Doctor is a character of the "real universe" and you can certainly see his reactions to the "mirror characters" in this episode.

Which is great if the doctor is your only favorite character. ;)

I agree with Kegek, IAMD was hilarious for the simple pleasure of watching the characters be evil. They have the same traits as the regular characters with the negatives simply magnified to an insane level, or they are simply reversed.
The fun comes from witching the "likable" character behave in such an insane fashion. Thats what makes it funny. The mirror eps are not meant to be taken seriously, they are an excuse for camp and over the top villainy.
