It’s a plot point in Dr Stone that some of the characters have lighter hair. The basic plot is that every human on Earth has been turned to stone in a single event for 3,500 years until one character is freed from it and works to free others and restore all of science and civilization from scratch. He later finds a tribe of humans with a lot variations in skin and hair color, along with a society centered on collecting certain minerals and using the basics of science. The main character is able to figure out that they’re the descendants of the International Space Station crew who were in orbit when everyone else was turned to stone. There’s more to it but they created a culture designed to be ready to help rebuild civilization when the right person came back.well in some japanese schools, its Regulated to have black or dark brown hair. A person of mix ancestry who had naturaly lighter hair was told to dye it black because they didn't belive she was lighter haired. So just putting that out there.
And i agree, unless its notated, pretty much any race looks the same in anime, though they do try ocasionally if its a plot point.
Surely Johnny Stecchino, no?Or is that a cigarette?
Sold!In season two they make a steam powered tank.
Hmm... then it's either the third from the left or the first from the right. If neither of them then I guess they threw darts on a map and picked the nationalitiesWrong! American. Try again.

Renato is a perfectly common Italian given name. It was my uncle’s name. Socci is a derivation of the Umbrian family name Soccio.Renato Socci!!! Italian!!!(what did give him away?!?!)
And I have to say, it is a more Italian sounding name than those I heard often in American movies.
My third guess then. What did give him away? I thought the Italian had better odds with lighter skin tone and darker hair.
Se he is Dr. Livingstone? It’s a plot point in Dr Stone that some of the characters have lighter hair. It’s a pretty great show, I recommend it. It’s a fairly upbeat show about science and friendship. In season two they make a steam powered tank.
There's nothing like that from what I've seen. There's a manga that's farther ahead, but so far it's been "science is awesome" and lots of heartwarming moments because of the power of science.Sold!
Just warn me now if I'm going to need brain bleach, because the last two anime I was recommended was 'Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood' and 'Made in Abyss', and I was not pre-warned about Nina and Mitty respectively. That shit hurt.
No they don't. Manga characters don't look "exactly" like real people. That's a ludicrous as saying Bugs Bunny looks exactly like a cottontail rabbit. Nyaa, it's all stylized up the wazoo, Doc.I have uncles and cousins on my mother's side of the family (our history there traces back to Sir Francis Drake) who look exactly like Spike, right down to the curly hair.

"I knew he would."Not "all." As with any form of cartooning, naturally, it depends on the style of the individual artist. Some mangaka favor a realistic style (for example), others a highly caricatured style, others somewhere in between. That's as true of Japanese comics as it is of American comics.
How old is Spike supposed to be? I only watched the first few episods of the anime, and I got the impression from the episode that introduced his rival, that they had a fairly long history, which would mean he couldn't be to young.1) too old
According to what I saw online, he's supposed to be 27.How old is Spike supposed to be? I only watched the first few episods of the anime, and I got the impression from the episode that introduced his rival, that they had a fairly long history, which would mean he couldn't be to young.
I thought Sir Francis Drake didn't have any children by either of his wives although I guess he could have sired issue out of wedlock.I have uncles and cousins on my mother's side of the family (our history there traces back to Sir Francis Drake) who look exactly like Spike, right down to the curly hair.
Sir Francis Drake, Vice Admiral (c.1540 - 1596) - Genealogy (geni.com)Sir Francis Drake did not have any children, and his estate and titles passed on to his nephew (also named Francis).
Shhh... Let him have his fantasy of being Nathan Drake.I thought Sir Francis Drake didn't have any children by either of his wives although I guess he could have sired issue out of wedlock.
