Little Mermaid remake being made

[Nero] Princess Ariel was a great mermaid, she went on to grow legs and star in a crappy sequel. But that was another life!! [/Nero]

Meanwhile, in the sea Lenia is suffering; she fell in love with Christopher in the moments she carried him to shore, so she makes a deal with the sea witch: in exchange for her voice and tongue she receives a potion that changes her into human form

Yeesh, that's a bit excessive. The voice, sure. But removing the tongue would put a definate damper on the...um...non-verbal communication as well.:p

Anyone else think Karen Gillan would make a sexy mermaid? Give her a tail as red as her hair and I am so there! (And I'm sure she & Rory would find some way to make it stupid & kinky. Like, have him dress up as the Gorton's fisherman or something.)

Can't believe they're doing what? Making a more faithful adaptation than Disney, because that happens all the time.

Yeah. Hopefully no calypso singing crabs this time.
Wow, the crab was most cool

Sean Aaron, thanks and ... yea, Flounder's Cool.

SilverCrest, and Borgified Corpse, LOL, Space Mermaids. I think Rory should wear his Pirate Outfit, Gorton's Fisherman doing naughty things to a Mermaid is just too creepy to think about

Sebastian was the man. Flounder was a chump.

If this remake ends with the misery of Anderson's tale, this could be a very interesting take. Do it in the mood of Pan's Labyrinth. And yeah, Karen Gillan would be great.

I think we need to look up meanings of words like remake and reboot. It's a different eat of telling a classic story, which is fine.
