Well, she's not going to state prison, but a women's county jail, for one, and she'll only serve a fraction of the time (three to three and a half weeks, most likely).
Hopefully this finally gets her to clean up her act.

Scuttlebutt says 30-45 days. So like half the sentence.
I just think that she would be better served with six months of straight rehab. Who knows what kinds of new trick she'll pick up in prison. Or what she might teach them for that matter.
Anyone see this? I guess LiLo lets us know what she thinks of the judge and this sentence.

Man, this girl is a one-person schadenfreude parade.
On one hand, I feel sorry for her -- on the other hand, I'm really glad she's finally reaping what she's sown.
For some reason, I really get a kick out of that. The judge hands down the sentence and goes home to reflect on her fifteen minutes. The next day she turns on the TV and finds out the whole time Lindsey was telling her to go fuck herself. Another instant Lohan classic. 
I doubt Lindsay had the words on her finger for the judge, it's probably meant to be "cute" since it's on her middle finger. So that if she gives the finger to someone they also get the message, which -oddly enough- is the same message as the finger-gesture itself.
So pretty much, Lindsay's redundant. She might as well stick a note on someone's back that says "I have a note on my back!"

I started to read the thread, then it occurred to me I wasn't quite sure of the differences between Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
Celebrities are people too, and some will have emotional diffculties, sometimes compounded by heavy/erratic drug or alcohol abuse. Whether it's Grace Butler, Shelley Long, Shelley Duvall, Robert Downey Jr., Britsay Lopears, they're not having a good time. Resenting them is not just ineffective, but superfluous.

I don't disagree. Note my above shock as I discovered how old Lindsay is. She's what, 25 or so and she's going to jail, has a beaten and overused vagina and has had more drugs coursing through her system than a medical school cadaver.
She's a washed up, usless, piece of trash who's wrecked her life and apparently has the emotional grasp and capability of a ragged-out 12-year-old who didn't get her pony for a birthday present.
She needs therapy. And not Hollywood, go into for a couple of months and get "cured" celebrity therapy but real, true, deep, therapy where she's checked into a clinic and monitored 24/7, with teams of people helping her, having meetings, discussions and giving her anti-psychotics. She needs help. Or she's going to end up paled and with so much heroin in her body it'll be oozing out her nose as she's laying dead on a 30-year-old matress in a tenement in West Hollywood.
Paris Hilton, more or less, got over herself after her stint in jail and -for the most part- has remained off the radar and grew up after her stint in jail. I hope, for her sake, Lindsay can do the same but her problems seem deeper (thanks to her parents) and I doubt she'll ever recover. Which, again, is a shame because in the begining years of her career she showed promise, then she fell off the deep-end, only to find there was another deep-end to fall off of. Sort of like that scene with Marion and the Duck in "Crystal Skull."
Poor girl my back side, if you do the crime pay the time.
