Lindsay Lohan Gets..

Such sad people, glorying over celebrity shadenfreude.
What's with all the Lindsay hate? I mean why do people have this visceral reaction to her? The only person she really seems to have hurt is herself. She's hardly the only irresponsible celebrity in the history of the world and she is hardly the only young girl who has ever partied a lot.
and now she's making a movie about the life of Linda Lovelace I had to google that one and was like OMG. Lindsay Lohan, 24 and done it all

My response is mostly one of ambivalence. I don't care about her personal life, and I have yet to see her in a movie where I enjoyed her performance. I am sometimes curious to watch or read about other people talking about this kind of stuff, but that's about the most of it.
The thread could now be: Lindsey Lohan gets....90 days in the hole.
I can't remember seeing any movie with her in it, but have sure heard enough about her BS from the news headlines. Hopefully 90 days in jail plus 90 days as an inpatient at a rehab clinic will fix her l'il red wagon.
As far as the discussion at hand, I don't really give a rat's ass about any of these talentless attention mongers, and wish the news outlets would stop putting this crap up at all.
But, as long we keep watching or clicking on the stories, they'll keep shoveling it out there.

^^ That's the great thing about living in Asia...you can tailor how much crap you know about celebrities.
I mean I get CNN from Hong Kong and am up on the news etc...but you don't get the newspaper talking about that kind of gossip and with no TV shows like Entertainment Tonight you'd have to go on the net and actively search.
So I don't know who John and Kate are...and for a few months I'd read here and there on the net some headline like Paris Hilton in trouble and figured it was the Hilton in Paris. Then one day (in 2002 or so) I saw the headline Paris Hilton caught drunk driving and my mind balked at the idea of a hotel driving drunk!

I hope the 90 days helps her turn her life around. She had such promise as a younger actress, and she has gone by the wayside. It would be nice to see her redeem herself and begin a better life for herself.
Drew Barrymore certainly turned it around before she wound up dead.

Agreed. I think that Lindsay must start changing soon, her body is already showing signs that it's being worn out well before it's time.

Looks old for 24, esp below the eyes and the cheekbones. All those parties are starting to catch up with her.
I'm sure there's a time honored reason for it, but I don't see the sense of forcing her to dry out in one of the worst man made hell-hole environments on earth for ninety days; Then send her to rehab for the treatment she needs.
Oh well, I guess a life of drug and alcohol abuse, drunk driving and indecent exposure has it's dark side. Though I've never encountered it.
