Lighthearted Confessions

Top Gun is one of my favourite movies ever and I've purchased it three times already: regular edition on DVD, special edition on DVD (for the DTS track), and on Blu-ray.

Same here, haven't gotten to Blu-Ray though, but I'll get there at some point. Fantastic sound on the DVD DTS track though :D

^ Yeah, the 6.1 DTS sounds sweet, which is why I upgraded from the regular DVD to the SE back in the day. ;)

^ Yeah, same here.

Back in the day of the DVD (;)) I got the Superbit editions of Spidey 1 & 2 instead of the normal 2-disc versions due to the improved VQ/AQ of the Superbit editions. The fact that I don't usually don't give a crap about extras helped with the decision (the prices were pretty much the same).

Yeah, me too. And yes, that DTS track is truly awesome; crank the volume up and you can almost feel it when jets pass by. The "Jester's Dead" dogfight is a brilliant example of this. Probably the best soundtrack I've heard on a DVD.

I think I actually like the accounting course Im in... (well, ive taken it before but I seem to be liking it better).

I hate marshmallows and am not a big fan of cheese (I've learned to like it in some sandwiches and Italian meals). Most people I share that with think I'm a freak.

I cried at the end of Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, When Shadow limps home to his owner. Every time I cry like a 10 year old girl.

I've been a lifelong fan of P.G. Wodehouse, though that in itself is not the confession. The confession is that when I am sad or grumpy, I sometimes draw pictures of Bertie Wooster getting himself in the soup, so to speak, to cheer myself up.

I got Suberbits of The Fifth Element and The Mask Of Zorro. I love extras but for some reason I still bought these with Superbit, and don't regret it. And then I was my cousins Blu-Ray rip of The Fifth Element and went all sad...

Yeah, I can't push the subwoofer I have at the moment to proper volume during the movie since I fear I'll be evicted
