There's no indication that yer regular Vulcan would be any more engineered than yer average human, tho. We all are the result of interstellar transplanting or seeding, to some degree at least, in the Trek universe; a degree of genetical engineering might be involved in that process.
And once a species starts to live past their breeding age, seemingly defying evolutionary logic, all bets are off as to how far past breeding age they will go. Human infants benefit from having grandmothers. Vulcans might benefit from having great-great-grandfathers.
