Spoilers Liam Shaw

So I have some questions between the Liam Shaw we see in the first three episodes and then the Liam Shaw we see in the finale and that is at the beginning, we see Shaw ready to throw the book and bring Seven of Nine up on charges for helping Riker and Picard but yet in the finale, we seem him saying that He was recommending her for promotion to Captain? Is that a discontinuity between the two we see? or what?

Tuvok mentioned that the officer review from the finale was recorded before the Titan departed for the Ryton system, so it was made before Seven had helped Picard and Riker.

Seven's helping Picard and Riker probably really stung after he had given her such a positive review, and maybe he came down harder on her because of that?

He was an authoritarian leader. He felt it was necessary to threaten those under him instead of inspiring them.

Is Georgiou arresting Michael for mutiny despite recommending her for command earlier in that episode a discontinuity?

Sidebar on Cogley: I'd like to see that character followed up with. Would Armin Shimerman consider that job if offered? If he won't, would he recommend someone?

So if Shaw had survived, did you want him to captain the Titan-A err Enterprise-G with Seven as his first officer or do you think he would've gotten the Titan-B or do you think he would've retired?

Had he retained command, I strongly suspect he would have lobbied against renaming the Titan-A and told them to go find another ship to rename.
