Levar Burton to be the next host of Jeopardy?

Long as LeVar gets his chance. With the online petition he's got circulating, he rates that much.

I'll let @The Nth Doctor and @Timby explain; they're bigger sports fans than I am. But I have yet to find a single person online or in real life who likes Buck's work as a sportscaster.
He's just so...painful to listen to. He's not as bad as his previous cohost of the baseball playoffs, Tim McCarver, but he's awful in his own right.

FINALLY.

Robin Roberts is a good choice, too.

Jeopardy announced the remainder of the guest host schedule, and LeVar will have his stint (July 26-30) before Joe Buck (August 9-13).
Bleah.

Maybe they'll realize Buck is just awful and give what the people want already.

OMG these next 2 weeks are going to be insufferable. That Bill Whitaker guy is duller than bag of hammers

Aaron Rodgers had an extra (fictional) hosting appearance during last night's episode of The Conners. We didn't see much of his hosting capabilities because it was mostly focused on Jackie's, um, chaotic turn as a contestant.

Looking through the schedule I didn't realize Mayim Bialik was an actual neuroscientist.

An anti-vaxxer neuroscientist, at that. (Yeah, she's backtracked some over the past few years, but she resisted getting her kids vaccinated on time and has complained about schools requiring vaccinations in order to attend. Has also said the anti-vaxx movement "has some good points.')

Blossom, no!

It's week 1 for Mayim Bialik. Anyone watching?
