I think my preferred method will be "S1E05" for example. Any TRUE fan would not need title abbreviations.

That's actually more confusing because traditionally TOS fans numbered the episodes in production order, but airdate order has taken prominence in the digital age. Furthering the confusion, some airdate-following sources place "The Cage" as episode 1, even though it never aired as an actual episode of the series.I think my preferred method will be "S1E05" for example. The list as printed and shown in the image seems to have a typo right near the top...I'm sure that the abbreviation for "The Albatross" is meant to be Al/a, but they've got A1/a.
Add to that, it's "Arena" and "Court Martial", not "The Arena" and "Court-Martial".The list as printed and shown in the image seems to have a typo right near the top...I'm sure that the abbreviation for "The Albatross" is meant to be Al/a, but they've got A1/a.

Menagerie is two eps, not one long one, at least to me. How do tptb number them? Just wondering.
except ... backwards!Yeah. Reminds me of when typewriters didn't have a 1.
In that list, the code for "Bem" is more characters than the actual name.
Anybody else have memories of using the wheel on the cover of Bjo Trimble's Concordance to decode the abbreviations?
R4MIf redone today, I'd imagine we'd see a lot more of "2" standing in for "to"
For example, Way To Eden (W2E)
