Funnily enough, I'm not quite so keen on her earlier, short-haired look; I always thought it made her look a bit frumpy (though I do admit that I liked her in Robot when she wore that light blue dress suit, hat and leather gloves). I much prefer her later on in the Tom Baker era when she let her hair grow a bit.

Very nice pics. But in all honesty, Lis Sladen is a woman who's total loveliness was captured more in movement & personality. The Doctor has had "hotter" companions but no others that could match Lis Sladen for cuteness. She was strong enough to not be completely useless yet just helpless enough to allow you to be her knight in shining armor.

Uh, the topic is "Let's ogle Lis Sladen!!" who was born in 1948 and thus is sixty years old. I made a joke that if old ladies are what people like to "ogle" then try Clara Peller, the old lady from those Wendy's commercials. Added humor is that those Wendy's commercials have her saying a catch-phrase that can be perverted into something sexual.
Quite frankly I think it is comic brilliance, if I do say so myself.
Although, to be directly on topic, Lis Sladen is quite beautiful, even in her golden years. Although those pictures of her under 40 indeed convey an attractive allure well worth ogling.
One-thousand pardons for the "high-brow" Clara Peller joke. Sladen is quite lovely.
It's a boundary that all too often gets tested needlessly.
However... Ms. Sladen has a smouldering kind of beauty that has treated her well through the years, as the evidence here has proven.
Wait til you see her in School Reunion.
