Let's get drunk!

I got off work super early tonight, but none of my friends are around! I really want to go out and have some drinks, but I generally don't like sitting at bars by myself. Who wants to have a party?!

Any other Saturday and I would have joined 'ya! -But, alas, I've got a hot date early tomorrow and don't want to be drunk or hungover for that!

I will however have a beer and sit here for a while and see you all get useless -nothing's quite as entertaining as a drunkl thread when you are sober yourself

I've actually gotten drunk while talking with someone on AIM before (they were drinking too). I rationalized that it meant I wasn't drinking alone

Surprising so many people have responded they don't drink. In any other section of the internet/world everyone would jump on it.

Always seemed to be illogical to me, especially to the point people take it to. Not saying that any of you do, but man, whenever anyone around here learns I don't drink they make it their holy mission to get me to.

Well, there are some alcoholic beverages that I just enjoy drinking because I find them tasty. The beer I had with dinner yesterday would qualify.

However, there are times when I feel like letting the alcohol do its thing and getting me drunk. Not crazy, pass-out, vomit drunk...just a nice little buzz. Although, tonight I wouldn't mind losing my inhibitions a bit and letting some crazy things happen.

I picked up a case of Newcastle, a case of Flat Tire, a case of Honey Brown, a case of Guinness and these lovely bottles of Absolute Vodka for martinis.

And where do you want me to put the donkey and this box of handy wipes?
