Banning people from a forum is a slippery slope. If it were that easy, there are certain other people I'd like to see gone from particular places.

There are channels to go through with this sort of accusation...publicly accusing somebody of trolling is a no-no.
But ultimately, if you feel that somebody is trolling, the best thing to do is to not feed them.
Agreed. There's nothing I enjoy more than to prove to people on an internet bulletin board that they're wrong.
Still doesn't mean the ideas are not worth discussing.
So if they don't care what we are saying why do you care what they are saying? I personally don't think shitting on a TV show is trolling. A TV show isn't a person or group of people, so its feelings can't be hurt. And like Fireproof said, even if someone is just shitting on a TV show just for the sake of shitting on it, that doesn't mean they won't ever bring up a point worthy of discussion.

I do care what they are saying. I come to this BBS to have meaningful discussions about Star Trek with intelligent, civilized people, not to listen to idiotic complaints made by people who come here to purposely complain. There's a difference between bringing up legitimate criticism and just repeating the same crap over and over even when it has proven to be incorrect on numerous occasions, because they are trying to provoke a certain response.
