Bob The Skutter

Complete Arse Cleft
In Memoriam
Synopsis for those who don't know. (It's a little inaccurate though)

When Jimmy (Mathew Horne) is dumped by his girlfriend and his best mate Fletch (James Corden) gets fired, they decide to put their troubles behind them by embarking on a debauched weekend away in Wales. It all starts swimmingly as they arrive in a small Welsh village teeming with Swedish female students and not much else. After finding accommodation in a cottage at the edge of the hamlet, the boys unearth an ancient curse that turns all the girls in the village into - yep - lesbian vampires. It's now up to Jimmy and Fletch to fight off the bloodthirsty pack and break the curse. Familiar faces from TV's Gavin & Stacy, BAFTA-winning duo Corden and Horne ensure the great Carry On tradition lives on in this outrageous slice of Sapphic comedy horror.

I went to see it the other night with a friend. I was expecting 1 of 2 things. It was either going to be a horrible attempt at humour, especially after the terrible Horne and Corden sketch show, or a good parody of over the top horror movies. It was the latter, and just good fun the whole way through.

Anyone else planning on seeing it?

I had never heard of it.It sounds crappy.
Maybe when it comes on dvd, I'll check it out.

Was there any Swedish girl nudity ? Lesbian kissing ? ;)

I'm going to watch this, I'm a massive fan of Gavin and Stacey and I love Horne & Corden.

I like the them, but the sketch show seems fairly humourless to me. I watched the first 1 and half of the second one and just gave up. I wouldn't say it was the funniest comedy in years or anything like that, but it was a lot of fun, and if you go in expecting to just have some fun then that's what you'll get.

Agreed. The first episode was good, then the second episode lost almost all of it's appeal which was annoying, but it picked back up in the third episode for me.

Oh Bob, watching the last Skins tonight? :P

The critics have ripped it a second arsehole.

Either tonight, or first thing tomorrow. I'm not sure I like where it's going, but we'll see.

Yeah, I know they have. But I don't know what they fuck they were expecting from a film called Lesbian Vampire Killers, with a teaser trailer like the one it had. It's a dumb fun comedy film. But it's far better than the ***** Movie types, I get that it won't be everyone's idea of a good film, but it is what it is, and the name says it all really.

I'm not planning to see this - the reviews have been of the sort The Hottie and the Nottie would be ashamed of.

^ Absolutely.

Vampyros Lesbos
Daughters of Darkness
Vampyres
Lust for a Vampire
Countess Dracula
The Hunger
Blood and Roses
The Blood Spattered Bride

To name but a few.

I thought this film was unique, I didn't realise that it was possible for a film to both suck and blow at the same time.

I was given free tickets for this - and a free drink and popcorn and I still left halfway.

It made sex lifes of the potato men look like Citizen Kane.

I heard that they made this as part of a contest. They would make the film for someone who could come up with the most marketable film title ever. True story.
