I like the them, but the sketch show seems fairly humourless to me. I watched the first 1 and half of the second one and just gave up. I wouldn't say it was the funniest comedy in years or anything like that, but it was a lot of fun, and if you go in expecting to just have some fun then that's what you'll get.

Agreed. The first episode was good, then the second episode lost almost all of it's appeal which was annoying, but it picked back up in the third episode for me.

Yeah, it looked interesting. There's some very good scenes in there, but it just doesn't seem to work. The film seems schizophrenic, and doesn't know what sort of film it is. When I said I thought it was horrible to my friend he replied "It had explosions in it... what more do you want?"

I thought it sucked, I have to say. But then, I'm no fan of it's leads. They're funny enough in Gavin and Stacy, but removed from the grounding of that show's context they're just a bit weird.

I have to agree with you. Not about the film, which I enjoyed in a switch your brain off/dumb fun kind of way, but about Horne and Corden. The sketch show has been a let down, they do come across as a bit weird in some interviews, and even Gavin & Stacey, despite being a huge hit, is over rated, but enjoyable.
