Leonardo da Vinci

On the next episode of Voyager: A simulation of Khan merges with Leonardo da Vinci in a terrible holodeck accident and takes over the ship
It's funny how when The holodeck first came on the scene it was welcomed with fascination and possibility. Now, it is derided as a magnet and hangout for crewmen who cannot get laid. Who get it on with tricks of light and get jealous when others of their kind brag of having had the same. But every once in a while, The Holodeck rises above the mockery and shame by offering a decent character. Professor Moriarty in TNG, being one and, of course, Leonardo da Vinci in VOY. Both characters brilliant and engaging and yet ...

Honestly, if we had to have a VOY where holograms escape again, I would have preferred Da vinci over What's is face....Sullivan. I'm not sure how exciting that would be. We 'kinda' had it in Concerning Flight, But concerning flight felt so much like alien of the week, the exiting your territory music and never heard from again. Peace out old man, we need excitement so tear down this one and next set up...serial movies gone crazy :D

I think the actor could have carried a series on his own. Leonardo gets his own ship, and maybe he recruits his crew from other holodeck characters like Mark Twain, Napolean, Albert Einstein.. We can call it Star Trek: Excellent Adventure

I could imagine 3 more eps with Leonardo

1: Leonardo da Vinci invents his own mobile emitter and flies off the ship in his flying machine
2: Leonardo da Vinci gets captured by the borg
3. Leonardo da Vinci is revealed to be the new borg queen in the voyager finale. Janeway must face her mentor

Having added Leonardo's distinctiveness to their own, the entire Borg collective turns from a bunch of mindless zombies into a bunch of genius (zombie) inventors, which is very bad news for the Federation. On the bright side however, they barely finish any of their inventions or research projects.

What I'd really like to know, now, is:
Does The Maestro Leonardo da Vinci inspire you, as he inspires Kathryn?
