Leonard Nimoy Has Died

While not unexpected, this has been very sad news in my home. Just as with James Doohan, I'm glad that I got a chance to meet him before he passed. He truly is a class act and the world is poorer without him.

As I said on Facebook and to the reporter who i talked to on Friday evening (I'm the President of the local SciFi fan group and as such had a message from our club contact person to call him) I wonder if his family will ever really know just how many lives he has touched and affected. People everywhere wonder 'What Would Jesus Do?" If you're a Trekker, you wonder "What Would Spock Do?"

Its very sad :(

Also, he starred in a classic Outer Limits adaptation of an Adam Link story, and he played Paris on Mission: Impossible.

I haven't watched MI in ages. However, about the time you posted this, I had been (coincidentally) re-watching the episode of Fringe, "Grey Matters" in which William Bell goes by the alias "Dr. Paris." I assumed it was a reference, and now I know to what.
