Legs and a head stone(set pictures from season 5)

I can't relate to teenage or early 20s characters/actors. I've never liked kiddie companions.

Wow, I take it you've been put off from about 90% of televised Doctor Who, then.

The age of the actors is irrelevant and also remember that at heart this is still a children's show so if they cast younger people in the roles that's perfectly in keeping with the philosophy. Consider yourself lucky they haven't paired the Doctor with a kid (John and Gillian, anyone?).

And I'm now older than Tennant, Eccleston, Davison, Colin Baker and Tom Baker were when they were all cast, and it hasn't put me off! ;)

Alex

slightly on topic with those pictures, this is a new low for the Sun

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...llan-don-chunky-sleeping-bag-style-coats.html

does the Sun actually think that the coats are part of the costumes? when im as sure as I can be, that its just something actors wear to keep themselves warm between takes.

with the Sun you can never tell, but they're clearly for the actors to keep warm as we've seen Billie and Martha in them before as well as David occassionally (sometimes doesn't bother when he's wearing the mac)
you have to wonder why the person putting it online didnt question it, if it had been me I would have refused to put it on a website I consider "mine"

Wow, I take it you're putting far more spin on my words than I'd intended. ;)

And no, I haven't been put off 90% of DW. But I'll never watch The SJA for example. And I disagree with the statement that "at heart, it's still a kids show". If that were the case, it'd be aimed at the 5-12 demographic. It's a sci-fi show that appeals to a far broader demographic than children.

I'm simply stating my viewing preferences and I prefer shows that predominately cast actors in my age group or at least have characters that I can relate to in some shape or form.

I saw some photos of Amy wearing a police uniform with a miniskirt a couple weeks ago. Can someone post those pictures?

God the Sun being even more dense than usual!

It's not a cat flap or a K9 flap btw. I can exclusively reveal that the 11th Doctor will travel with Amy and a tame Cybermat!
Actually, that would be pretty cool.

Shes not going to wear a ultra mini skirt all season is she? Moffat sexy is good but its supposed to be a family show after all. Now shooting private scenes just for me and sending them via mail is a different thing ;)

Great pics. :techman:

Loving the new (old school) Tardis, wonder if theyll explain the changes, personally i think they should leave it unexplained.

Unless The Doctor 'Re-boots' the tardis to repair exterior damage, in essence putting to a restore point withing its own history, thus leaving the interiror only slightly changed. Thats if the matte image seen a few days ago is something to go by.

I find myself liking 20-somethings in Doctor Who, besides id find myself ignoring her acting if its gonna be this entertaining in leak photos:lol:, especially in 90s police get up. ;)

What's wrong with John and Gillian? Some of us like the Doctor's other grandchildren. :)

Okay, okay, the only stories of John and Gillian I've read are Campaign and "The Land of Happy Endings" (which is one of the top five Doctor Who stories ever).

Well lets see

There was this get up

So yeah for the first 7 or 8 episode she'll be wearing skirts.

Meh. The more I see of her, the less attractive she becomes. And who the hell came up with her outfits? She has yet to wear anything even remotely attractive.

Garish red top, black mini, black socks and blue Cons. Not appealing.

Same with the cowboy boots and mini.

As for her police getup, highly impractical. A mini and her hair loose? Neither of which would ever be done by an on duty officer so I hope she's "off work" in those scenes.

What demographic are they going for now? 13-18?

reportedly the police uniform is a hen night outfit.

personally, i don't have any problems with her clothes

No clue what a hen night outfit is. I just know the only time you see a cop with long, loose hair is when they're off duty or undercover.

Officially, Doctor Who's demographic has always been a little younger than that.
if it gets any younger it might as well combine itself with The Sarah Jane Adventures, oh wait it already has.

Sadly this is true. Those final scenes in The Next Doctor were right out of Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. :(

By the way, has anyone been able to read that tombstone?
