I'm very happy this is finally happening! I just hope they don't just focus on the new series.

Yeah, I saw it had The Fourth Doctor and K-9 mini-figures, but there were far more new series mini-figures in the concept pictures. I hoping the actual sets have more balance between the two.

Maybe we'll eventually get a Lego Doctor Who video game. Given that Lego IMO has done well with their licenses with most of the games (Although there are a few bad ones), it'd probably be an improvement on most of the other Doctor Who games we've gotten, which have mostly been terrible or too short. Given the mostly family friendly nature of Doctor Who and the Lego games it would be a good fit too I think.

So I guess this means a future Lego movie could actually feature the Doctor, maybe a few Doctors. Be even more awesome if they can get the actual actor(s) to supply the voice. Or even if they get Nick Briggs to voice Daleks or any other Who aliens they use. Then again, the Nation Estate might not allow Daleks to be used in a Lego movie...

Capaldi, Coleman and Gomez all confirmed to be providing voice-work for LEGO Dimensions. So presumably, at least in-game, we'll have Clara and Missy minifigs?

I am not entirely sure what the whole LEGO Dimension thing is about.
I get it is a game centered around Gandalf, Batman and Wyldstyle which is incredibly expensive?

How do all these level and style packs factor into it?
I assume the style packs unlock additional playable characters and vehicles and stuff like that.
And I have to get additional level packs to play in additional worlds?
So if i want to play as the Doctor i have to buy the Doctor Who level expansion and if i want additional DW characters like Clara or Missy I have to get more style packs? Is that right?

Even though it's LEGO and for a video game, the notion of The Doctor teaming up with Doc Brown hits me right in the geek core.

I also love that LEGO has included all of The Doctors and not just The Twelfth Doctor. Hopefully they'll include all of the companions at some point, too.
