Legend ot Seeker - any good? what is it?

I would also like to add that whoever decided to give Bridget Regan a double front split dress with thigh high boots to wear most assuredly deserves a raise!! :>))

I enjoy the show, but I don't find it as good as either Hercules or Xena. It takes itself a little too seriously and it just isn't that much fun to watch. I miss the camp.

Of course if you didn't enjoy Hercules or Xena due to the campiness of those shows, there's a decent chance you'll enjoy this.

Just how many manipulative magical sisterhoods are there in the Sword of Truth world?

NEW SEEKER...will he survive...kinda doubt it.

Kinda hope not. The character didn't do much for me ... though, I suppose it might have something to do with the chipmunk joke. LOL.

I suspect he's (the new seeker) the one who there talking about taking the stone to the keeper...

and as to the sisters question: two light and dark.

So the other dark one must be the Sisterhood of Traveling Pants.

Heh I kinda liked it because it was a little reference to the books and some character who won't be included in the show

In the books Richard basically freed all the Mord'Sith, but they stuck with him and followed him. Three became his personal bodyguards and part of the detail usually accompanying him. Cara, Berdine, and Raina. When Richard took up residence in Aydindril, Raina would spend time taming the chipmunks and having them eat out of her hand.

A lot of the stuff in the books obviously doesn't present itself good for a tv format. Richard spends a lot of time away from Kahlan and Zedd during the books. The scope of certain battles or cities would just kill the budget on the show and you can't really have a cast of like 50+ people who may be needed on a recurring basis.

The one thing I noticed about the way they're doing the Palace of the Prophets. We never saw any other Wizards, in the books there were some being trained and we see how the Sisters treat the Wizard's almost like possessions. Although the one prophecy mentioned about a great menace after the keeper is defeated could mean Jagang is planned to appear at some point in the show.

having Jagang on the show probably means he will not be a dream walker... I say that because there has not been any mention of the bond... Cara should be bonded to richard by now and in the books... should locate him anywhere... as any of those bonded to him are... also.... the bond prevents the dream walker from invading the minds of those bonded.... so... no bond... no dream walker...
but then... this is the books not the tv show...

Well they could always decide that the way the bond is first established is by some ritual performed in the D'haran palace and then the devotions 'Lord Rahl protect us, etc..." is just reinforcement/maintaining that bond.

So since Richard has never assumed the role of Lord Rahl at the D'haran palace he hasn't set the bond to himself yet.
