Legend of the Seeker gets a second season

Good news, but not loving that they're all over the place, plotwise, and he's flat out saying that it's gonna get more messed up rather than better.

And why is it news that he and Rahl will share a scene? Has he read the book? Hell, has he read ANY book? In order to have the good vs. evil battle at the end, they'd sorta have to have scenes together, right?

Less excited that they're going to stray even more than they already have, going forward. Very soon, this will just be a generic fantasy series, with no ties to the SoT series of books. F'ing Knight Rider with a sword instead of a car...

I'm pleased about the pick-up. I'm enjoying the show currently, although I'm two episodes behind. Its really lightweight, and for the most part family friendly (unlike the books - oh my) but its good for a bit of unambiguous turn your brain off entertainment each week. The fights are exciting, Richard is personable enough, Zedd is funny and Kahlan is stunning - very enjoyable.

Its completely lost the plot of the books at the this point, which actually surprises me, not because the books are that good, but because I wouldn't have thought Goodkind would let them. There seems to be no Goodkind at all in this series, apart from the character and place names. That doesn't bother me, because I think he's a douche, but isn't it weird that the great Objectivist seems to have thrown away his "important moral story" for a quick buck?

Good news for me - I love the show. Some necessary and lots of unnecessary departures from the books, but they're mostly well-done and always surprising. Craig Horner is surprisingly enjoyable as Richard, Bridget Regan is fantastic and hawt, and Bruce Spence is pure gold as Zedd. More, please!

Never read the books. I'm loving the show. It is lightweight adventure. Just what I need on a Sunday afternoon.

The brunette is actually Bridget Regan, who plays Kahlan. She was just dressed up as a Mord-Sith as part of Richard's plan to get her inside a prison to rescue someone.

Othello, is there a particular reason you chose to completely ignore the rules on this board regarding picture size? The *maximum* is 640 x 480. In what way do you believe this does not apply to you?

You've been reported.

Wow - way to be really officious when you aren't even a mod - do you have a super-slow connection?

The pictures are great (albeit a bit too big - of course :p) I can't describe how awesome Bridget Regan is, although when she's dressed in her normal Confessor outfit, she's got some great cleavage going on that the Mord-Sith outfit doesn't show. Still, pretty hard to argue with skin-tight leather.

She's insanely beautiful in that Mord Sith outfit.

p.s. I really like this show, glad it's getting a second season.

I thought the show would be lame. Then I left it on the tube a few times since it came on before Star Trek remastered. Kahlen is hot and the first dominatrix episode was sweeet. Bruce Spence is cool, too.

Though, it seems like some episodes are just them walking around New Zealand countryside. They already did the body switching episode. HA!

I think they did that as a way of establishing that it could be done. That way it'll have a precedent when they do it later with the villain instead of it just being a spell from nowhere. It's the "Chekhov's Gun" thing.
