Legal way to watch Who online?

I missed the season premiere and the 6th episode and my BBC On Demand doesn't have those two at all even though they have the others so i can't watch them. Anyone know where you can watch them online legally?

why doesn't the BBC open up its website to people outside of the country?

BBC does not use adverts to pay for the company, we all pay a fee yearly and its bloody worth it too ;) so wouldn't be fair on us. Even then I can't watch and U.S networks I players despite the fact they use Ad's to pay for it all so not just BBC.

Hrm, ok, just sucks sometimes for us people not in the country who also love Doctor Who ;)

^Actually, there's less reason why the US networks shouldn't open theirs up to the rest of the world since all they'd have to do is show localised advertising.

The only problem is that they have regional contracts with local broadcasters that prevent it.

Oh I know. I just get sick of this whinging BBC open up their stuff abroad when it's not done by anyone else either and they're all commercial so have a reason to open up their stuff to as wide an audience as possible.

^Yeah, totally agree. They'd put a serious dent in TV piracy as well. No reason to download shows illegally if you can watch them legitimately for the price of sitting through a few adverts.

I didn't know those sites were also closed outside the US, being in the US I didn't know that, heh.

^Why would piracy be such a problem if we could all watch Hulu legally ? I'd even pay if I got the same service as the Americans do.

^ Yeah, if the entire world could watch any new show they wanted to watch for the price of a few ads (or even a yearly fee) I think TV piracy would be mostly eliminated.

But until then, there's only one option for this impatient Canadian.

Yeah, I was hoping SeeSaw was going to offer something like that, but it turns out they're offering shows a couple of years old at least. Why would I pay to rent them when I could buy them on DVD for around the same price?

^Yeah, I'd happily sit through some ads online to watch TV shows the day they aired in the US.

Which makes me believe TV will be gone in the next twenty to fifteen years.

And with newer ways to wifi your laptop to your tv you won't have to throw your 47 inch tv out.

I have a computer hooked up to my TV anyway, use it as a PVR and use it to download to and to stream video online. I don't think TV will necessarily be dead, but I think the web will be one of the main ways to deliver it.

I remember when we used to get Voyager on VHS from our American friends posted in the mail.

10 minutes after a legal version of something with ads is released, some one will be stripping the bastard and rereleasing it illegally without ads.

Short of the bitorrent gestapo knocking my door down and dragging me away to a reeducation kennel, I laugh at the weight awarded to the simple act of a little internet piracy when there's mudred, rape and german cooking ocurring behind ever other closed door.
