Spoilers Legacy character announced for SNW

Kirk is coming to SNW?

Kirk being somewhat bi-sexual is actually fine with me - the same way Daniel Craig's James Bond in "Skyfall".
He's a well-known womanizer. THAT is an important part of his character. And he goes to bed with aliens - who knows how many genders they have? So he definitely must be happy to experiment in some cases.

What I absolutely don't want to see is a romance with Spock though. It's nice to see some absolute guy bromances in media (Finn/Poe Bucky/Steve Kirk/Spock Sherlock/Watson Scrubs/Turk) where guys can just be emotional, caring friends and very open about that, without having to always turn that into a romantic interest by shippers.

Is he? He's hardly a Womanizer in TOS.
He's more of on in ST09 than TOS.

We saw kirk in the kelvin universe only hit on Uhura, he had a sexual relationships with gaila and those caitian twins and we started to see the beginnings of his relationship with carol (which I wanna see more of in this universe.)

but on the other hand his prime counterpart had a woman on every other week

we just counting during the five year mission or his relationships pre and post TOS?

I would imagine we're talking about TOS, since that is what we actually saw. Plus, how do you count women he wasn't with during the mission as part of his count during the mission?

we just counting during the five year mission or his relationships pre and post TOS? Cause if we count those it’s up to 23.
I have no idea where you get that number from, but that's like one hook-up every 11 weeks or so.

While that's a heck of a lot for a sad, lonely incel like myself, I'm sure that's probably fairly average in comparison to successful people on Tinder.

Memory Alpha under Kirk's romances page.

This excellent essay takes down the pop culture misconception of Kirk as a horn dog frat boy: http://strangehorizons.com/non-fiction/columns/freshly-rememberd-kirk-drift/

Memory Alpha under Kirk's romances page.
They took some liberties there. They include Nancy Crater just because the Salt Vampire tried to seduce him while disguised as her. Rand because the Evil Kirk assaulted her. Sylvia from Catspaw just because she tried to seduce him. Marlena Moreau despite the fact there's no grounds there was anything between them in the Prime Universe aside from one conversation. Drusilla even though neither of them consented to that. Martia despite there being nothing aside from one kiss.

Honestly, looking over MA's list of Kirk's "romances" is just making me think they need to enforce their strictly canonical only information they claim is a thing when it comes to stuff they disagree with, like the name Kelvin Timeline, or Adira's gender.

OG Kirk definitely wasn't a "horn dog frat boy" (unlike the JJ reboot Kirk). He was a decorated commander, and described as a bookworm. And his "one, true love" was the Enterprise.

At the same time he definitely was a womanizer. Not a horny, male slut. But his effect on woman is undeniable, and he definitely acted on it. Not every episode. But every once in a while, and often enough that is quite obvious he knows how to properly seduce a woman.

We see several ex-girlfriends, which were all pretty much shown to been committed relationships rather than flings, and a lot of flirtation, but how much action did Kirk actually get in the original series? Drusilla, Miramanee and Deela? Arguably Edith Keeler?
