Could this be the updated model they'll be using?

This is excellent because of the freshness of the idea, but I'm sure the final CGI model will be slightly higher quality. As a CGI expert I can spot low-res textures in this image.

i have to admit, I really, really love this...

I like this design better than the one that is floating about now. Just change it to U.S.S. Discovery and it would be far more tolerable than that other one.

Now this looks like a cool starship worthy of being in a Trek series. Sleek lines. Possible folding nacelles similar to the Intrepid Class (U.S.S. Voyager). Well done.
