Law & Order: UK...ripoff?

I for one have really enjoyed L&O:UK these last couple of weeks. I was a long time watcher of the original U.S. L&O (though I stopped watching about 4 or 5 seasons ago), and as a fan of British drama, I was eager to check it out. The production values are good, I like the cast (which includes "Lee Adama" & "Martha Jones", which is cool) and seeing the premise in this new locale brings a fresh spin on the franchise that I think is a positive one.

I am not sure Dick Wolf can rip himself off. It would be nice to have original scripts but what can you do? I love Law and Order:UK i have to say, the interactions between the characters and British setting more than makes up for the reused scripts for me. Plus it has APOLLO

Life on Mars was a poor remake of the UK original.

Oh wow was it ever, I am Canadian and i have to say the British can make and even remake a great a show. The U.S office was great in my opinion but they are sucking it dry as if they studied under Rick Berman
