I'm sure Organized Crime will get re-aired on NBC or USA when they're in the midst of summer rerun doldrums at some point next year.

As for that Chicago Fire departure, the actor is confirmed to be returning in a recurring role. But I can't blame him for leaving; twelve years playing the same character can get boring, and also very expensive for the producers, given pay escalators.

The L&O wiki says that one of the Mothership actors is leaving:

Camryn Manheim

And that was Tony Goldwyn's real life daughter in the last episode.

The police boss has got to be one of the most thankless roles on TV, especially on the mothership where you're only on for the first half. Unless the character personally knows someone involved in the case or is a person of interest in the case, there's not much to do.

Can't say I really enjoyed that last OC ep.

Julian Emery GOT AWAY, the bastard. And Joe Jr.'s with him!

I do love the bit about Joey-boy using that kid's gaming console to send out a message.

Gotta hook the audience into getting those Peacock subs somehow.

Found a TV station that plays CI reruns in a row every night, so sometimes I turn that on while working. I'm probably in the minority in that I prefer Logan and Nichols episodes over Goren's. Also, CI is probably the worst show in the "defense attorney doesn't speak and lets the cops steamroll the suspect" category.

I tend to generally agree with you; Goren is a very difficult character to write consistently without turning him into a Sherlock Holmes / Dr. House-level genius who's playing chess eleven moves ahead of everyone else, and after the first couple of seasons, Goren was carried by Vincent D'Onofrio's raw charisma, not the quality of the writing.

Although Logan wasn't done any favors, either, really; felt like a completely different character from his time on Vanilla. I did enjoy Goldblum as Nichols, though.

Maura Tierney joins the mothership. Seeing as how there's only one opening, that would be the one she's filling even though they're not saying anything.

SVU promotes Kevin Kane (Det. Bruno) to series regular. Juliana Aidén Martinez (whose most prominent work is a Netflix miniseries called Griselda) has been added as a new detective.

What is the point of promoting him to a regular when the show can barely handle to give anyone but Benson a storyline?

Love the character, but I don't see the logic.
