Latest gas prices where you are thread

A lot of you guys have it good. The lowest I've seen it is around $2.53.

You know, this is bad for Iran's economy.

$1.96 in Twin Cities Minne-snow-ta today.

What's the deal with both coasts paying $3 a gallon still? Sounds like some price gouging going on.

I'm not sure on this (I'll actually need a coast person to give a definate answer), but I think the coasts pay higher taxes on their gas than other places do.

^ I'm pretty sure that's the case. NY isn't even coastal state, but our gas taxes are the highest in the country. Ans, as Q2 said, Western New York pays even higher than that, god only knows why. It's always cheaper on the local Reservations, but at least from where I live, that's a bit too far a drive to justify paying $.30-$.-40 less per gallon.

Across the street from where I work it was $2.49gal. $2.39 if you paid cash. Whats that?

That's not unusual. Gas stations have to pay for access to credit card networks (Visa, MC, etc.) too. So, if they charge you the same for cash and credit you're actually getting screwed over for using cash.

I was being wise. The fact that we hardly use cash anymore.

I just paid $2.39 on my way home. The cheapest I saw it was $2.29, and that was at a "Full" service satation. Though I don't really think they should be allowed to call it Full service if all they're really doing is filling your tank for you.

According to GasBuddy.com, the cheapest gas in my city is $2.12 a gallon.

I made a prediction about a week or two ago that it won't go under $2.00 before climbing back uyp, and I'm going to hold to that since the holidays are neary here.

99.9 a liter X 4.546= $4.54 an Imperial Gallon
99.9 A liter X 3.785= $3.78 a US Gallon

In Victoria , BC

^1.99 here too. It was good to see, as short lived as I'm guessing it's going to be with the holidays coming up.

Today was an exciting day. Before the prices started falling, $40+ would take care of half a tank. Today, I filled up three-quarters of a tank on $27. I could get used to actually going places again. :)

If I were you, I still keep the same routen, you may need that extra savings, I doubt that the price is going to stay low. It would be really nice though.

I paid $1.79 a gallon in Brownsburg, Indiana today.

It's been well under $2 here in central Indiana for about a month.

Damn. A month?! I'm living in the wrong part of the state. It took Washington Co. until today to fall to $1.99, and neighboring counties Clark and Floyd have only been under the $2 mark and falling (was $1.85 when I filled up yesterday before heading home) for only about a week or so.
