Latest gas prices where you are thread

Ah, $1.99 today. MAde up fro the two days it didn't go down. Now I feel bad that I filed up. Took me $30.00 to fill up, instead of the 50+ it would have a month or so ago.

MAybe I should start stock pilling gas whiel it's cheap.

On Sunday (9-Nov) it was $2.43 at Costco in Tustin, CA. Today (Thu, 13-Nov) it was $2.26 in San Bernardino at a Circle K.

Gas prices are dropping as fast as my 401(k)!

Just confirmed last night: Cheyenne has officially dropped below the $2 mark for the first time since I've been driving. :D

It actually went up this morning. :( Leaving work yesterday, the cheapest was $1.81. Coming in today, it was $1.92.

Can't say I'm too surprised. I'd been wondering when it'd start climbing back up what with Thanksgiving around the corner.

Yesterday, I filled up with my usual 98RON at 99.9 pence per litre (regular was down to 92.9). First time I've been able to fill up at under a pound per litre since last year.

For diesel, it still seems to be around £1.04 to £1.09 locally:( It doesn't seem to have changed much though it's good to see the price of petrol dropping.

I heard on the radio that regular is now down to 90.9 at some places locally, which means Optimax should soon down to 96.9/97.9. :)

Don't know why diesel's taking longer to fall (different supply chain?) but a friend was also complaining about that the other day.

It's probably because the supermarkets are the ones driving the prices down, when I suppose the others would rather keep their profit margins up I'd guess petrol probably brings more customers in than diesel does.

Yeah, could be. I've no idea really! :)

The reason I was given was something to do with us having less refinery capability for Diesel than Petrol (Dating back to when more people were using petrol)

Not exactly petrol related, but it is travel related. We've been seeing a lot of paperwork coming round in relation to congestion charges recently:(

Dropped below $2 in Framingham, MA for the first time yesterday. I saw two stations at $1.999. Typical is around $2.059.
