http://www.reuters.com/article/businessNews/idUSTRE49B0S120081012 TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran will ask for an oil output cut at an OPEC emergency meeting scheduled for mid-November in Vienna, Oil Minister Gholamhossein Nozari told an Iranian newspaper. "At this meeting our country's request to cut production ... will be submitted," Nozari was quoted as saying by the Poul daily. "It seems that if OPEC does not take a major decision to confront falling oil prices, investment conditions in the oil industry would be faced with a serious danger."
P.S. OPEC can suck it. They're just going back to the way things were two years ago and aren't losing squat. (Unless they really were dumb enough to start viewing $100 a barrell as the norm.)
I paid 97.9 a litre this evening. I can't remember when it was this (relatively) low.
