latest DVD purchases

Trans-Siberian Orchestra The Ghost of Christmas Eve (I haven't watched it yet).
Michael Crawford in Concert and My Favorite Broadway - The Love Songs are both in transit and I should get them in the next few days. :D

From the Wal-Mart $5 bin I got
[*]Terminator 2
[*]Princess Bride(bare bones)

At a friends Christmas Party this past weekend we played Dirty Santa. I ended up with Spiderman. I took it back to Best Buy and due to a mix-up got the 2-disc version of Spiderman 3 for only $10 more(instead of $15).

I just got the HD-DVD set of Planet Earth. I'm a Netflix guy and almost never buy DVDs but I wanted to own this, it's awesome.

Mission: Impossible Season 3 and BSG: Razor. Will probably get The Universe Season 1 as a Christmas gift--I've been dropping hints right and left...

Just got Lost S3 and Dexter S1. Dexter's white box sticks out on my shelf of all dark colored boxes (B5, BSG, Heroes, etc.)

BSG-Razor
Pirates 3
Farscape Season 2 (trying to replace 2-disc versions with 4-disc versions, got v2.1 and v2.2 in 4-disc version, v2.3 came in old 2-disc version )

Here's what I got today:
- The Office - Season 1 (blind buy, it was only $10)
- The Office - Season 2 (another blind buy, it was only $13)
- Knocked up - Unrated ($10)
- King Kong ($4)
- The 40-Year-Old Virgin ($5)

"Caligula" (it was really cheap and I wanted to know what all the fuzz was about)
"Raging Bull"
"Millennium", season 2

3 of your 5 choices feature Steve Carrell so if you like him from his Comedy Central days you will be set. You'll feel almost guilty for getting those at such cheap prices.
If you don't but work in a cubicle or other "office" environment your likely to love them. The fact you post on a board like this says your background inclines you to like 40-yr old virgin.

Knocked UP is great.
King-Kong at $4 sure for that price you'll like it and not feel cheated.

^ I've seen all three movies already. I really liked both Knocked Up and 40-YOW. I also liked certain parts of KK, and well for $4 it was a steal.

And while I haven't seen any of The Office, I do have a feeling I'll like it.

I bought Razor yesterday. I thought Razor was just average when I saw it on TV, but my opinion of the movie has gone up a bit after seeing the extended cut.
