After all these years and dozens of viewings, I'm still impressed with Shatner's performance in this episode. Unlike most of the regular cast that had to grow into their roles over the course of the first season, he literally had Kirk figured out on day one, truly a character that he was born to play.

Sulu and Riley are both trying to get the knife away from a loud and obviously agitated Tormolen. The rec room is full of other people, yet no one else tries to help.

Convoluted explanations aside, Scotty could have just dematerialized the door to main engineering, or cut a hole in it with his phaser in seconds. Khan forced one of those doors open with his bare hands.

It would have been nice when the Dominion beams Bashir out of his cell. That he take the opportunity to grab hold of Weyoun and snap his neck.
