KPop Demon Hunters on Netflix. Very fun, great pop songs, and a fairly uplifting message.

I love that movie. It's really good
A friend from my church took me to see both the new Superman and Fantastic Four movies - we both enjoyed them a great deal. Personally, I give Gunn's effort an 8.5/10, mostly because I doubt anyone will ever top Chris Reeve. As for Marvel's first family, that adventure gets a whopping 9/10 all the way - I laughed, cried, and cheered through the whole thing.
Watched Superman again tonight. Fourth time. And the theater still had an English language screening, so I went for that. Still an absolute joy. At this point I think I'm past the recency bias and can actually say that this now is one of my four favorite movies of all time, and absolutely my favorite superhero movie.

Relay. Played at TIFF last year and opens in theaters in a couple weeks.
Really well made thriller without a huge budget or set pieces, just a story and characters, about one character who needs the help of another character. They don't make movies like this anymore.

The Killer. I thought it was exceptionally good.
Black Bag. It was very good. I think it was inspired by Le Carre.
Just saw Naked Gun with my mom. We both loved it.

We watched Love Hurts on Peacock. Some decent fight scenes, but the movie was kinda meh as a whole.
The Dark Knight Rises on Wednesday night. Been doing a marathon of Christopher Nolan movies over the past week or so.

Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, a Guy Ritchie action, comedy, war film with Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson.
Superman (2025) - a truly awful film.

Just watched Thunderbolts. Honestly, I was a little disappointed, but it wasn't too bad. Not great, not bad.
Black Death - A well-made but dark take on religion, and how faith is tested, and by some abandoned, during the plague in the mid 14th century.
