Last movie you saw?

Bill & Ted Face The Music:

Ugh! What can I say that's nice, honestly not a lot. This felt like a real mess of a movie and just wasn't fun, neither was it funny.

Honestly why did they even bother with this one? It really felt like an amateur production and there was no kind of feeling of energy from any of the actors let alone the leads who just felt really, really flat and lifeless. What was the fricking point?

It was terrible.

I love the last 30 minutes of The Martian when you see that new flight go up, and it's probably not intentional but it made me feel like we were getting another story and then the movie ends like "here we could make another one if we wanted here's a sample" and it left me feeling excited, was an exciting few scenes and made me want more.

I respectfully disagree. As someone on the far side of 50, I really connected with Bill and Ted still trying to figure out their lives and destinies. And I loved the ending.

I'm very close to 6 O so I respectfully respect your opinion but for me it just didn't gel in the way I thought it would Keanu is a good actor but it felt like he had no energy and life some of the time, at least to me.

The song at the end was the wrong song. It should have been the Robbie Robb song "in time" from the very first movie, that would have been perfect and full circle. I posted a clip of that song in another thread because after my Bill & Ted rewatch of all 3 movies that song really stuck with me.

New Jack City - Good movie, but it's definitely a Just Say No To Drugs kinda film. Ice T has a lot of action scenes tho, so that's cool. 8/10

Bullitt - It holds up pretty well, it has good acting, stunts and cinematography. But another piece of copaganda. 8/10

Sinners - It's so good! From the music, to the cinematography, to the acting. It's something special. Might try to get it on DVD someday. 10/10

Just back off my hols and watched a few films on the inflight entertainment.

IF - Very enjoyable fun movie.

Disturbing the peace - Guy Pearce was the draw on this one, but what a pile of rubbish, was like they turned up to a town and roped in some locals to act, budget was probably about 50 dollars

Blade Runner 2049 - hadn't got round to this before but thoroughly enjoyed it even though Harrison Ford wasn't really in it that much

The Radleys- Bit odd vampire movie set in Whitby but strangely entertaining

One of them days - fairly funny movie

yesterday- another I hadn't got round to, enjoyed it but didn't think was as good as I expected

An early police procedural movie on Turner Classic Movies.

The Naked City (1948) There are eight million stories in the naked city. This has been one of them.

Saw some TOS guest stars in the movie. One of the detectives was played by David Opatoshu who was in the Episode A Taste of Armageddon; and James Gregory who was in the episode Dagger of the Mind, had a small role as a beat cop.

Just got home from seeing the ‘live’ version of Lilo & Stitch.

Kinda had to go see it with living in Hawaii, understandably. :bolian:
Pretty good overall, I liked the emphasis on Kuleana as well as Ohana.

Cheers,
