Last movie you saw?

"For A few Dollars More"
Big Clint, Van Cleef and Leone
Magnificent, even after all these years, even after the sometimes muddled plotline

1917 biplanes flying and no Daleks.. :)
WW1 biplanes on Skaro

This afternoon They Drive By Night a cool movie.
"The Doors they made me do it"

Rented Ford vs Ferrari from Amazon Prime last night. 60" 4K TV and full surround sound going. Very good movie, easy to see why it was Oscar nominated in many categories, including sound. They captured the sounds of race car's very nicely and accurately.
Easy 8.5 out of 10. Recommended.

I already posted this in another forum, because I didn’t know we have a movie thread right here.

I recently saw three movies in cinema, all with a parenthood/family theme:

Adam, a beautiful and sensitive Moroccan movie about a widow and a pregnant girl who change each other’s life (5/5).

A perfectly normal family, a wonderful Danish movie about a young girl and her father whose relationship changes when the father comes out a transgender (4/5).

Family Romance, LLC, an almost documentary like movie about a man who has a company in Tokyo that rents out substitute family members (4/5).

Last night I had the misfortune of watching "Play Misty For Me"
I love big Clint, but that movie was dogshit

I've never seen that one. So I'll tick that one off my list.

I watched The Gauntlet the other night fun movie but I'm sure it's had several different edits over the years. I am not sure but I think they changed a scene or two in the train car.

Not saying you shouldn't give it a chance
I just found it dated, Clint wasn't a convincing DJ, never mind "love interest"
The whole film was padded out by being an advert for Carmel, California and the Monterey Jazz Festival
"The Gauntlet" is a Dirty Harry movie in all but name, I mean, he's the same character, moved to Arizona
I liked it
