I love The Thing, I love all 3 versions of it including the recent one which everyone hates.

I watched the 2017 Jumanji movie, which I hadn't had the chance to catch at the time. It was really very good. I'm excited to see the sequel soon.
I love the original 1951 film, but haven't seen the most recent prequel.
If I was overly critical of "The Thing" I would say that the editing was a bit slipshod, and the narrative gets a bit confusing towards the end, but fuck it, what a film.

Last night, "White Christmas"
Unadulterated hokum, but still looks good, and I love Danny Kaye.
This morning, animated Disney version of "A Christmas Carol"
Not bad
Now, absolute car crash dreadful Christmas schmaltz crap on Paramount.

It's a Wonderful Life
we got Space 1999 for Christmas we have been waiting it a lot. It is a fun show.
Ready Player One. The first time I watched it, back in the theatre, I was a bit too hung up on the differences to the book, but still liked it. Now, having rewatched it on BluRay, with a bit of distance to having read the book, I was able to let the movie stand as its own piece and liked it even more.
Ironically, same. Although this was my first time: I'd never seen it in theatres, and I've never read the book.
Tonight I watched "Looking For Mr Goodbar"

Funny Face with Fred Astaire, Audrey Hepburn and the wonderful Kay Thompson. Kay is my main reason for loving this movie, I don't like Fred and Audrey as a couple.
Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. My nephew wanted to watch it and... it's lucky he's adorable because that's over 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
