Last movie you saw?

One of the StarzEncore stations has been marathoning all the old Godzilla Movies on sundays. Last night I saw "Destroy All Monsters,' "Son of Godzilla," and "All Monsters Attack" before "King Kong."

There ain't much Godzilla on German TV. One station aired '54 and "Godzilla Raids Again" recently, on a Monday at 4.30 am. That was the first Godzilla airing (not counting the Legendary Godzilla) in years.

There was a time, though, back in the 1990s, when Leo Kirch, a German media mogul of the time who owned several stations, had the TV rights to a couple of the Toho monster movies and aired them fairly regularly. They even aired "Mothra", which had not been released previously in Germany (they had to do a dub for a thirty year old movie).

Was playing around on the FXNow FireTV app last night. Watched Passengers with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. Really liked the production design; not the greatest movie in the world, but for some reason I like it and watch it every now and again. Not a whole lot of commercials and they showed it pretty much uncut, so that was nice.

Also watched The Wolverine again on FXNow. Probably the second best Jackman outing behind Logan. This was also shown with minimal commercials and uncut. Fun romp to end the evening on.

Last night was a late-night double feature due to my son's inability to sleep after oral surgery. We watched Ralph Breaks the Internet (for the first time) and Inside Out (for, like, the 10th time).

Saw Brightburn at the cinema yesterday. I enjoyed it, but I also don't think it's one I'd rewatch often.

My friends and I really wanted to see the movie, but when we saw the trailer we felt that it spoiled the movie too much.

That the boy is just evil and kills every one, or am I wrong?

Not quite everyone - but I'd say he's well on the way. They do leave room for a sequel if it does well

"Godzilla's Revenge", "Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster", and "Godzilla vs. Gigan". I also went back to the theater to rewatch "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" earlier today.
