Last movie you saw?

I sat through "All Cheerleaders Die" a couple of nights ago
It was so bad it was verging on a work of genius
Fuck knows what was going on

Watched Mark Wahlberg's Spenser Confidential on Netflix, & to its credit, I made it the whole way through. It is by no means any good, but I wasn't expecting much anyhow. It is exactly as you'd expect

Yeah, I watched it too. I never watched Spenser: For Hire first run but it was one of the few shows that my dad liked to watch with me the year before he died. I never read the books but this movie, while being ok is nothing at all like the show. The character names are the same but that was it.

Went to the theatre today (probably for the last time in a while, considering how COVID-19 is impacting everyday-life) to see "Die Känguru-Chroniken" ("The Kangaroo Chronicles").

I went to the AMC Tyler Monday night, right before they closed the chain for the duration. Watched Bloodshot on the BigD screen and Emma.

I only wanted to watch Emma. for Bill Nighy, but he was pretty much wasted in the role.

I watched The Assignment via Netflix last night, which has Michelle Rodriguez playing a hitman who gets an unwanted sex change operation after killing a plastic surgeon's brother. Terrible movie.

Watching A Simple Favor via Hulu now. Kinda dull.

Clash of the Titans (the original from 1981) was on TV recently. I haven't seen it for ages so decided to watch.

Last night I saw the new "Emma" movie, and it was phenomenal. I'd been wanting to see it in the cinema, and I was planning to go with some friends, but then the virus thing happened and all the movie theaters shut down. I'm glad a lot of films are being released to rent digitally early now. It did cost me $20 for a rental, but it was totally worth it.

Everything about this movie is absolutely perfect. I laughed so many times, and even though I'm familiar with the story, the acting made me feel like it was fresh and new. Quite possibly the best comedy I've seen in a very long time.

Watched 1990's The Russia House starring Sean Connery and Michelle Pfeiffer via Hulu with HBO earlier tonight.
