Last month of bachelorhood!

It's April 28th. I'm getting married on May 28th. The RSVP cards are flowing in steady daily. It should be a good turnout.

So, this is it. About four weeks of being a bachelor. Four more weeks of checking "single" on those forms. We are moving in together the weekend after this coming weekend. Things will be never the same.

Five years ago, I was in a different city when I first signed up here. I hadn't met my fiancee. Few weeks after I signed up here, I drove off to DC for a medical checkup for a job, and met her. It's funny how we were so unaware of where we would be five years down the road.

Any tips for a groom to-be with only one month of bachelorhood left

I'm not going to pick up hookers or go to a strip bar for one last "hurrah" (not really a last hurrah since I've never done it before).

Okay seriously....I think I might have said this before, but this is the best thing I was told on my wedding day (19 years ago) and it still stays with me:

"Marriage is two people on the opposite side of a chasm, building a bridge to each other every day."
