Thanks so much for providing some much-needed pics of Romana II! I would have but am embarrassed to say I don't know how to post pics online.

anytime...

i would have posted them in higher resolution, but my photobucket account can only store upto a certain file size sadly :(

as for posting images online, there's plenty of places around... photobucket is a good one thats free to use, you can sign up there and then upload your images to post from there :)

i've been good thanks... busy with work but good :)

@Admiral2... definitely... the perfect companion, and she was amazing in the Gallifrey audio books as High President of Gallifrey :D

The question shouldn't be 'should they film the Time War'... it should be 'Why the hell haven't the filmed it yet?!?' lol

Nicely done Methos. 252 Minutes even :bolian:

I'm standing here wallet in hand, wondering where I can buy it

lol i'd want to buy it... they really do need to do something like this for the 50th anniversary... bring back 8 and 9, and actually explain what happened during the Time War :D

M

Ah, but whatever the BBC depicted (and this is not meant as a "slight" against them because visually, the Beeb has far exceeded my expectations with the '05 revival) could never live up to the nightmares and horrors we've conjured within our minds. Best to leave it a mystery almost beyond imagining.

Sincerely,

Bill

maybe... it's true that it would be quite a mammoth task to film the time war fully... that's why my idea of it was basically to use 11 talking about it in flashback scenes... the time lord victorious remembering the horrors and battles he fought and lost...

if they were going to do it fully, i think i'd prefer it to be done in book format... about 10 or 11 books stretching from the 8th Doctor to the 9th, and going through everything that happened :D

OMG I LOVE that cover! Excellently done, and I think we should have Eleven tell the story through flashback for the 50th anniversary. With all the hype surrounding the anniversary anyway, they better release a decent enough story in the Time War's place if they don't go with that.

I like Tamm and Ward about the same, but Lalla's constant slagging of Tom Baker in her commentaries make for some awkward listening, I must say. He must have done a real number on her fragile noggin, and all the Richard Dawkins lovin' won't change that.:rommie: I won't be holding out for a Baker-Ward joint commentary.

On the contrary, Mary Tamm and Tom have a delightful rapport on their audio tracks together. Both ladies have great ONscreen chemistry with him.

Ward may have reason to verbally make jibes at Baker, who among us can be sure of anything when it comes to these two?
Anyway, which Season Eighteen serial do the masses seem to enjoy that feature Baker and Ward?

Don't know about the masses, but I'm a huge fan of MEGLOS. My wife and I have differing views on season eighteen; she hates it whereas I love it.

I like Season Eighteen even though a lot of the trademark Baker humor was missing. I have to say i rather like Meglos myself, as well as Full Circle and Warrior's Gate just does get a pass by me as a decent eough if confusing serial. :p
