It's literally in the film: "3 Years Later" on a card in big, bold, letters.Where did those 3 years come from?
I would not want Crusher on the Bridge of a Starfleet ship.Luckily, that's not what I meant

Fair enough, don't remember that. I still think he jumped the queue, and I wasn't a fan of that. It's literally in the film: "3 Years Later" on a card in big, bold, letters.
I'm sure you're not alone.I would not want Crusher on the Bridge of a Starfleet starship
You'll have to be more specific.I would not want Crusher on the Bridge of a Starfleet ship.
I would normally agree, and think it would have been better served to promote him to Commander and XO, under Pike. However, Starfleet had also lost 6 ships worth of crew and cadets to Nero so the queue was probably smaller, plus a little bit of nepotism.Fair enough, don't remember that. I still think he jumped the queue, and I wasn't a fan of that.

I believe @Daedalus was referring to Kelvin KirkJack was important to the Borg (he was a transmitter). Starfleet wanted Captain Seven to watch him like a hawk.
I believe @Daedalus was referring to Kelvin Kirk![]()
For which one? Jack or Kelvin Kirk?Ok, I keep messing up the post I was trying to do. I think it was a one year time jump based on the youtube clip that wouldn't work.
Time jumps are definitely confusingI got confused.
Both Kelvin Kirk and Picard S3 had time jumps.![]()
Seems simple enoughFor which one? Jack or Kelvin Kirk?
I'd have to load up my copy of 09 but the transcript site I go to has this:
[Narada - Three years later]
ROMULAN: Captain Nero. You've been requested on the bridge, sir. Ayel, say's it's time.
Time jumps are definitely confusing![]()
You were talking about Kirk? I was talking about Jack. For which one? Jack or Kelvin Kirk?
I apologize for my contributions to your headache. You were talking about Kirk? I was talking about Jack.
One year later, you see the Enterprise D back at the fleet museum, then it heads to Jack approaching the G with mom and dad.
Man, I have a headache.
No problem, no problem.I apologize for my contributions to your headache.![]()
Hot Take:
The 'sitcom' will not only be objectively better than Picard Season 3, it will also play better in the zeitgeist.
The sitcom should have starred the TNG crew, then. The last sitcom that made me laugh was The Golden Girls.
Wow, with clairvoyance like that, how are you not a multimillionaire? You've been able to see into the future to read the scripts and watch screeners of a series that doesn't exist yet? Truly impressive soothsaying!Oh, goody ...
Another "sitcom" that won't make me laugh.
Really, it won't.

Do you find Lower Decks funny? If so-called "great" sitcoms like Friends and Seinfeld can't do it, what makes you think THIS will?
