"Kling-ens" or "Kling-ons", or "Kling-ot's"?

"Kling-ens" or "Kling-ons", or (possible spoilers)

So to adhere to continuity, which I know will not be totally 100% with this new film, will we hear Kirk say (if there are any in the film) "Kling-ens" like he did in TOS, or "Kling-ons" like was said in the movies and the 24th Century. Or, will Kirk slip and say Kling-ot?

They should be called Klinguns... and should all be modeled after Koloth (before DS9 made him masculine).

I like the Kling-Gon pronunciation that made it sound as if there were two, distinct and hard "gs". The waitress in DS9's "Trials and Tribulations" nailed this pronunciation.

I also like Joanne Linville's "Rome-u-lahn" pronunciation--that might be more relavent to this movie. :p

They should be both swarthy and have ridges, with big bouncy, slightly bouffant looking hair!

Which brings up another question - will the movie make any nods to what the Romulans call themselves, and will the writers use the excellent Rihannsu books by Diane Duane as a reference?

Orci did say that they had spent a fair amount of time going over the books and there have been indications that some material from some books will make it into the movie, but he did not mention Duane's, specifically. Not really an answer to your question, but they've been playing things pretty close to the vest.
