I'm really glad to hear this - I've liked her a lot in the first three "Spider-Man" movies.

And her keeping her snaggle-toothed mouth closed.
And not showing her legs.

And maybe exposing herself to the sun once in a while (to be fair, though, she is fair-skinned so she doesn't likely tan so much as she burns.)
Just don't find her attractive at all and she has all of the screen presence of a block of brie.

I never really noticed how pale she was until the hospital scene in the first movie where she & Peter are holding hands. He has this dark, flesh-tone tan and she's almost completely pale.
I like Kirsten Dunst in the Spider-man movies, so I don't really get all the complaining. As for her getting kidnapped and screaming, that's not really up to her to decide, but I do hope that they do something original with her other than have her get kidnapped again. Isn't there more to Mary Jane other than damsel in distress?

I'm glad she's back I think she works well with Maguire. I hope she gets back to how she looked in the first film though.
She looked postively beat-UP in the Spidey-3 scene where her and Harry are.... :shudder: dancing. I mean. seriously, it looked like someone had ridden her hard, put her away wet, and then rolled her down a rocky hill.
I think she did fine - but then, I don't care whether she resembles the semi-character from the comics. I thought she played the role as written fine, and the mutual attraction between Parker and MJ made good sense with this casting.
Frankly, pretending on screen that a hot model type and Peter Parker would work out together is an entirely different kind of sell than a comic book - it'd make these movies look like big-budget sequels to "Revenge Of The Nerds" and most non-nerds would laugh in the wrong places.
Dammit.
I really hope her character gets killed off in this one... I found Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy to be MUCH more appealing in every way possible. More likable, more attractive and a better personality.
Also, I popped in my Blu-Ray Spider-Man 3 that came with my PS3 today for shits and giggles, and God damn, I'm going to listen to word of mouth before I see Spider-Man 4 because I don't think I can pay another $8 to sit in a theater and listen to Peter and Mary Jane whine about each other and look sad and make pouty faces any more
