Kirk's worst choice...

I have to say, Rob, you do come up with some great topics. (That's not sarcasm.)
on to the question.
I always felt that those poor sons-of-bitches on This Side of Paradise were totally fucked by Kirk. They were happy. Even Spock said that for the first time in his life he was truly happy. It was all ruined because Kirk didn't want to give up his ship, and to Hell with everyone else!
I know this wasn't a Prime Directive situation, but just leave these people alone! They weren't asking for help!

Val = Big Government. Big Government = bad for the people. Coming to the United States, 1-20-2009! ;)

No, Val = Slavish devotion to religion. Religious worship over all = bad for people. See: Crusades, the Inquisition, and Islamo-fascism! :borg: There's a reason it's called The Apple and it has nothing to do with Newton! -- RR

Worst choice's

1. Letting space hippies onboard.
2. Not putting down Gary Mitchell before he killed.
3. Not tapping that Orion girl's (Yvonne Craig) green ass.
4. Appearing in "Miri"
5. Janice Lester

Speaking of Khan and Kirk goofing up in his case, I always thought that having a wandering planet killer or a Nomad clone should be the cause for the exile planet's climate going south. The tyranny of unintended consequences that no good deed goes unpunished gag would be a truly colossal Kirk triple play foul-up that would turn the screws tight for the Wrath of Khan movie.

Kirk's worst choice? Hard to pick. How about the time where he kept throwing one red shirt after another at the Honey Cloud in "Obsession"?
